Sierra Hubsher
Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP)
I offer warm, somatic, trauma-informed therapy for women navigating anxiety, life transitions, and new motherhood—helping you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move through life with greater ease and self-trust. In Brooklyn, Manhattan, and online.

My approach
My practice is grounded in mindfulness, IFS parts work and somatic therapy. In practice, that means we pay attention to what's happening in your body and between us in the room — not only to the story you arrived with.Sessions are collaborative and unhurried. Over time, the work builds a kinder, steadier relationship with yourself and with the people closest to you.I believe each of us carries a wisdom that moves toward healing on its own. My role is to help you hear it, and it's an honor to walk alongside you in this work.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, and major life transitions, with a particular focus on the emotional terrain of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.I support women experiencing postpartum anxiety, intrusive thoughts, nervous system overload, disrupted sleep, and the profound shifts in identity that can come with becoming a mother.

About
Hi, I’m Sierra. I have roots in cooking, acting, art, yoga, and meditation—all of which shape how I understand creativity, connection, and what it means to be human. I became a therapist because I wanted to honor the whole person and create space for all that we carry. Beyond being a therapist, I’m a mother, partner, daughter, sister, and friend, and I bring my own lived humanity into the room with me. I see growth as an upward spiral—we may return to familiar places, but each time with the possibility of meeting ourselves differently.
